Today's training is in three blocks. Block 1 is a review of radio communications and voice procedure. The document provided at the link below is excellent - study it carefully and in detail. This should take about an hour. Block 2 is about the CME Family, read this carefully as well, spending about a half hour on this reading. Block 3 is more readiness training for Op LASER and includes material on the EOC (Emergency Operations Centre), which is a key civilian counterpart organization in domestic operations, and how it works, including recent examples from fires and floods in BC. Block 3 also includes a video from inside a hospital in NYC to give you an idea of what the situation may be like on the ground, a video showing workers converting a convention centre into a coronavirus hospital, which could be a potential task, and a video about the US National Guard providing logistic support.
