games.Tonight at 7:30 p.m. ET, the Buffalo Sabres (2-7-0, four points) and Toronto Maple

Leafs (3-4-1, seven points) take the ice at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto for the first

of four meetings against each other this season. The game can be live streamed here.

Buffalo fans can hear all of the action on WGR 550 while Toronto fans can do the same on

TSN 1050.
Buffalo snapped a four-game losing streak last time out and will look to win two

consecutive games for the first time this season while Toronto has lost two of its last

three games.
Instead, all the win's done is serve as fodder to feed the Sharks to the critics at the

Sabres' expense.

Criticism fiercely flew in the hours after the loss. The San Jose Mercury News ran a story

with the headline "Can things get any worse for Sharks than that Buffalo loss?" The story

hinted that the Sharks may have bottomed out with the loss, their fourth in a row, before

pointing out that there is no established bottom.

Then there's this critique from CSN Bay Area:

"There are losses that sting, such as the Sharks' falling on a last-second goal to

Columbus on Thursday, and then there are losses that are categorically embarrassing. It was

the latter for the Sharks on Saturday."

Former NHL forward Jeremy Roenick, always a straight-shooter on his commentary work, took

the Sharks to task on Twitter. He called the loss embarrassing:

"I just turned on Sharks game! Are u serious??? Losing to buffalo??? 3 loses in a row

and now losing to second worse team in the league?"

Grammar and punctuation deficiencies aside, Roenick encapsulated what most of the hockey

community thinks about the Sabres at this point. Most Buffalo fans resigned themselves to

that fact before the season started, but that makes seeing it play out in print (or on air,

or on screen) no easier.

Seeing your team play in the SuperBowl is priceless. Watching the SuperBowl live in the

stands for $1 per week is beyond priceless. Find out how at TicketScore.com, the future of
