Transcendentalism

Listed in order of simpleness. Me: It's a world view that Henry D Thoreau came up with after he rejected Unitarianism. He believed the "eliteness" of organized groups like the Church and in higher education corrupted the purity of people.

Transcendentalists believe that people are naturally good, that nature is good, and that society benefits when people are self-sufficient.
